Summary/Objective:


This position provides business line support for planning product plans and direction, channel support, and sales support. The Product Manager interacts with sales, product development, engineering, marketing and customer service to ensure that marketing programming and direction accurately reflects benefits and features from every user perspective and persona.


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Track customer care, dashboard, metrics, consumer feedback, customer satisfaction to measure performance and employment of existing and new functionalities and features
  • Develop product plans that drive share and/or revenue growth
  • Collaborate with senior managers to define the product roadmap by developing market-specific problem statements, using business cases, scenarios, sharing recommendations and results
  • Collaborate cross functionally on competitor pricing, market development, item analytics, selling and field solutions
  • Complete competitive analysis and providing insights to Manager
  • Support channel partners with sales collateral, best practices, and training
  • Design and implement product launches for offline and online channels
  • Approves press releases, marketing bulletins, & new product launches


Working Conditions:


  • May sit for several hours at a time.
  • Prolonged exposure to computer screens.
  • Primarily working indoors, office environment.
  • Repetitive use of hands to operate computers, printers, and copiers.


Qualifications:


  • 5 years of product development or product marketing experience, knowledgeable within the RV or Marine Industries
  • Bachelor’s Degree in business, marketing or related field


Essential Functions:


  • Determine product pricing based on market research, product costs and anticipated demand
  • Communicate and train Salespeople, Customer Service, Tech Services and other departments on product lines
  • Collaborate with Quality and Testing teams and provide priority direction
  • Manage a product team and provides coaching, direction and leads by example
  • Conduct ongoing product life cycle reviews and works with team on product rationalization

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:


This is a full-time, salaried position working 40-45 hours a week.


Travel:


Travel will be 10% of the role.

  • MBA or Master’s Degree preferred
