Product Engineering Manager Position Summary
SRS Acquiom is currently seeking a Product Engineering Manager that will lead and manage Engineers on a dedicated, cross-functional Agile delivery team.
This is a hybrid position with in-person and remote schedule flexibility based out of Denver, CO.
The salary range for this position is between $153k - $170k, depending on level of experience.
Product Engineering Manager Primary Responsibilities
- Build a collaborative, learning culture
- Coach others to ensure high quality and efficient delivery of business value
- Evaluate the team to provide direct guidance on performance and potential
- Able to work through and solve complex problems
- Accountable for hiring Engineers on the product team
- Stay on the leading edge of software engineering practices and technologies
- Contribute effectively to the code base across the full stack and lead by example
- Lead continuous improvement of Engineering practices
- Accountable to outcomes for the company, technology and team
- Align team decisions with Enterprise Architecture Principals and Department goals
- Provide technical leadership through mentorship, coaching and assistance
- Align Engineer’s career goals with the company goals
- Strives to drive a positive user experience
- Partner with the Product Owner/Manager to ensure alignment between Product and Engineering
- Take ownership of the product and team’s success
- Collaborate with teammates to ensure complete, succinct and testable acceptance criteria
Product Engineering Manager Required Qualifications & Skills
- Expertise with distributed architecture and microservices
- Experience in web-based application development
- Experience leading continuous improvement of Engineering practices
- Experience leading teams technically and as a manager
- Experience designing robust and scalable solutions
- Experience with unit testing and integration testing
- Eagerness and willingness to learn new technologies
- Experience leading collaborative software design sessions
- Expertise with version control systems
- Strong experience using database technologies and patterns
- 5+ years of experience as a full stack Software Engineer
- Strong understanding of SOLID principals, design patterns
- Experience with modern cloud native development (Docker, Kubernetes, Knative)
