WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for a highly motivated design engineer who:

• Shows initiative generating unique solutions and proving their feasibility in a fast paced environment
• Demonstrates a willingness to step outside of their comfort zone and try different things, welcoming the challenge
• Exhibits active interest in technical discussions and problem solving and is passionate about finding solutions
• Manages multiple disciplines to evolve a product from concept to production
• Takes ownership of their work and projects

Do you build your own furniture? Tinker with Arduino and Raspberry Pi? Model your house in CAD before redecorating? Do you NEED to try out your ideas with a quick 3D print? If so, we want to hear from you.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

• Experience in 2D & 3D CAD software (Solidworks or PTC Creo)
• Good communication skills (verbal, visual, and written)
• B.S. or higher in Mechanical Engineering
• Knowledge of complex surfacing techniques and top-down design methodologies for 3D design
• Ability to work independently or in a small team
• Working knowledge of volume manufacturing methods (injection molding, casting, etc.)
• 2+ years of professional work experience in a dynamic product design engineering role
• Ability to lead and to follow, and understand when each is appropriate
