Location: Fresno| Compensation: $60K-$75K DOE| Schedule: Mon-Fri, 8am-5pm| Schedule: Mon-Fri, 8am-5pm

Responsibilities:

• Foster strong relationships with key suppliers, maintaining regular communication, and addressing any supplier performance issues. Collaborate with suppliers to improve delivery times, quality, and overall supplier performance
• Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with the company's goals and objectives
• Identify, evaluate, and qualify potential suppliers based on quality, reliability, cost, and delivery
• Identify cost-saving opportunities, streamline processes, and enhance efficiency in the procurement process for manufacturing materials, equipment, and services
• Generate and process purchase orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with procurement policies and procedures
• Negotiate pricing, contract terms, and service-level agreements with suppliers to ensure favorable terms and conditions
• Monitor order status, resolve any issues or discrepancies, and coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure on-time delivery of materials

Qualifications:

• Excellent negotiation and analytical skills, with the ability to assess market trends, evaluate supplier proposals, and drive cost savings
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred
• Proficiency in procurement software and tools, as well as MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Strong knowledge of procurement processes, sourcing strategies, and contract management in a manufacturing environment
• Proven experience as a Procurement Specialist or in a similar procurement role within a manufacturing company
