Not only does Beaumont produce Mobil 1, the world’s leading synthetic motor oil, it is the only manufacturer of Mobil Aviation Greases. Other products include fuels and chemical compounds used in a diverse range of products, including plastics, Nylon, shrink wrap and more.

What role you will play in our team

The Process Control Engineer (early – mid career) is responsible for providing Engineering support to the Beaumont Area.

What you will do

• Identify and install new applications and interfaces to increase process safety, operability and profitability
• Provide process control support during project development, installation and startus
• Maintain and modify existing process control applications and operator interfaces

About You

Skills and Qualifications

• MS/BS Chemical Engineering or equivalent degree.

Preferred Qualifications/ Experience

• Knowledge of refinery, ethylene or aromatics processing technologies
• Knowledge of Honeywell TDC, Experion or Foxboro process control systems
• Demonstrated organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders
• Demonstrated experience with regulatory and advanced control technologies
• Excellent trouble-shooting skills
• Experience with DMC or Real-Time Optimizers
