Location: Hybrid position, must live within 50 miles of an Elevance location. Preferred locations- Walnut Creek and Cerritos, CA.

Responsible for applying process design, mapping, and quality assurance tools to define and improve processes.

How you will make an impact:

• Applies architecture and structural design techniques to design process systems.
• Applies process design, mapping, and quality assurance tools to define processes.
• Authors processes and procedures, templates, and guidelines.
• Gathers information on existing processes.
• Interprets results of testing.
• Performs analysis on current capabilities versus desired capabilities.
• Conducts testing to ensure standard processes, policies, guidelines, and templates are being utilized.
• Tests processes, documents, and communicates results.
• Facilitates process design meetings.
• Assists in training associates on new processes.
• Executes metrics to measure process effectiveness.
• Provides postproduction support for issue management and resolution.
• Interviews associates to document workflows.
• Executes implementation plans for new processes.

Minimum Requirements:

• Requires an BA/BS degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field of study and a minimum of 5 years’ experience authoring and analyzing technology processes; process/maturity models in the applicable domain (ITIL, CMMI, Six Sigma, COBIT); with process design, mapping, quality tools, and organizational change management concepts; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of process modeling languages such as Process Definitional Language (XPDL) and models such as Supplier, Input, Process, Output, Customer (SIPOC) strongly preferred.
• Experience with portfolio management software strongly preferred.

• Experience with NexGen or Epic strongly preferred.
• Experience partnering with IT on business requirements strongly preferred.
• Scrum/product owner experience.

For candidates working in person or remotely in the below locations, the salary* range for this specific position is $96,576 to $144,864
