Assists and collaborates in the implementation and delivery of activities to help meet the developmental and social needs of patients and families.
Experience
Experience in a group setting with a child
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree
Computer skills
Education
Associates degree in Child Development or related field
Certification Summary
Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of employment

Job Responsibilities
Plans and implements high-quality, comprehensive individual and group activities.
Collaborates with Foundation, Marketing, and Public Relations in fundraising events and donor relations/activities.
Promotes participation in hospital-wide and unit-based special events.
Serves as liaison for patient needs between Child Life Specialists and other staff as needed.
Provides computer and audio-visual activities and programming.
