Job description

The Goddard School in Buford is looking for a motivated self-starter Preschool Director’s position at our school. A bachelor's degree or higher in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field, and management experience in a licensed childcare center or preschool is required. A candidate must have strong leadership skills, excellent communication skills, and have a good understanding of age-appropriate activities for young children.

This Preschool Director opportunity is in a renowned Early Childhood Education program with a Piaget (Learning through Play) based foundation and has an active learning approach. Education / Preschool Director responsibilities include:

Overseeing preschool operations including Curriculum, quality assurance, facility operations and human resources

Developing strong relationships with our families

Complying with state childcare licensing regulations

Projecting a positive and upbeat attitude while working in a fast-paced environment

Demonstrating highly effective organizational, time management, and multitasking skills

Having a genuine love for children and a strong commitment to education

BA or BS Degree in Education

Preferred Managerial Experience in a Preschool Setting
