Babies And Preschool Director

We are searching for a director of infants & preschoolers who desires to lead leaders so that together you can influence the lives and hearts of families. In this position, you will partner with parents to inspire children to follow Jesus by leading teams to implement large and small group environments for babies and preschoolers that are clean, safe, fun, engaging, and helpful. Adaptability is key, and you must maintain a calm demeanor when the need to pivot arises. The willingness to be a hands on leader and work alongside volunteers as a servant leader is crucial.
Hours: Full time position working Sunday through Thursday; Monday and Thursday are remote Benefits: 15 days PTO plus holidays, long term disability, life, vision and dental, health plan allowance, counseling allowance, retirement matching, reimbursed expenses including phone and internet APPLY HERE: https://werecruitwell.applytojob.com/apply/7KiYAfDmtR/Director Of Infants And Preschoolers?source=churchjobs Duties and responsibilities Create and champion a fun, safe infant & preschool environment Be the face of the infant and preschool environment for children and their parents/grandparents Coach volunteers to grow and develop their strengths by providing direction, feedback, and opportunities Communicate and cast vision for the big picture of Sunday morning to the teams Be a leader of leaders through recruiting, modeling, teaching, evaluating, and coaching Create and send weekly Thursday email to the team Conduct weekly Sunday huddle Recruit, manage, schedule, and nurture volunteers on a quarterly basis Assist and train volunteers on finding their own substitutes, reaching out to those who do not show up for their role as scheduled Oversee the childcare for adult small groups Ensure the ministry functions within established safety protocols and procedures Actively direct the Sunday experience Manage the budget for the department Oversee the organization and maintain the excellence of the spaces, including signage, props, equipment, and storage Work with the Family Ministry Director on a weekly basis to synergize efforts, proposals, and calendars Participate in team meetings and partner church calls, conferences, training resources, and visits Lean into partner church contacts for areas that are not your zone of genius Provide all publicly distributed materials through the church office for processing Complete other responsibilities as assigned
