Love Encourage Achieve Respect Nurture Teachers at The Goddard School will be establishing and maintaining a safe, healthy and nurturing learning environment. We go beyond the daycare/childcare experience and ensure each day is filled with exploration and socialization allowing children to meet their full potential. This position provides flexibility with schedules allowing for both early and late shifts each week and pay range from $15.00 - $18.00 per hour, based on education and experience. • Maintain professional commitment General Qualifications A Teacher must meet the qualifications of his/her state and those set forth in the National Standards for hiring (see www.bls.gov), including the following:
• In addition to 6 standard paid holidays, we provide an additional paid week at the end of the year after 1 year

• A total potential of 26 paid days off per year Teacher Responsibilities Teacher’s responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, the following:
• Ability to respond immediately to emergency situations
• Ability to handle crisis situations, especially where children are involved
• Ability to hear the conversational voice, with or without a hearing aid
• Ability to use arms, hands, legs, and feet, with or without corrective devices; this includes the ability to evacuate the building during emergencies
• Advance children’s physical and intellectual competence
• Ability to see and read newsprint, with or without corrective lenses
