Who We're Looking For
We are currently looking to hire a Practice Manager to lead our busy, multi-doctor practice and facilitate providing care to a wide variety of animals in our spacious hospital. We are well-established in the community, and strive to create a collaborative and enjoyable work culture that takes pride in providing compassionate, quality service to our clients and their pets.
The Practice Manager at American Animal Hospital will drive appropriate staffing, coordinate HR-related issues with our HR team, hiring, development, training, compliance, payroll, and project management. The Practice Manager has a wide oversight scope and drives overall results in the clinic in partnership with the Medical Director, under the direction of Regional Leadership.
Duties Include but are not limited to
- Ensure regulatory compliance.
- Monitor team morale; foster positive work culture; address staff/client concerns.
- Problem solves to improve clinic procedures for increased efficiency/effectiveness.
- Develop and promote an ongoing and regular training program for all team members.
- Train employees to follow protocols.
- Contribute to the development of the practice’s vision, mission, and core values and use them as guides to all decision-making in day-to-day operations within the clinic.
- Handle clinic finances, human resources, and hiring while remaining compliant with state and federal employment laws.
- Participate in the practice’s strategic planning process and actively work to operationalize strategic initiatives to move the practice forward.

The salary band for this position is $64,500 - 66,000 annually, this varies depending on experience, education, certifications, licensure, and location.
Requirements:The ideal candidate will have the following:
