Power Bushing Assembler Jobs

Hitachi Energy is seeking a Power Bushing Assembler for its Alamo, Tennessee location. This role is responsible for following all safety and work procedures to stock parts, assemble, process (including impregnation if required) and fit for shipping of all power bushings.

Responsibilities:

Utilize drill pressures, fixtures, torque wrenches and automated tightening equipment Adhere to quality standards that are based on a load plan schedule and established per SAP time values Utilize standard and custom tools, assembly stations, cranes, process equipment, computer controls, custom fixtures, and operation of a forklift Handle assembly materials, some being hazardous, such as Paper, oil, gaskets, various metal parts (aluminum, copper, and steel), epoxy compounds, glass, sealants, porcelain, porcelain, foil Work within a team structure with minimal supervision on routine tasks Continuously train on new equipment and processes within the power components area Read and comprehend safety procedures, work instructions, assembly drawings and wiring schematics Operate and learn specialized internal programs needed to perform job functions
