Remote Power Bi Developer

Description

Responsible for enabling data visualizations in Power Bi from Jira and Procore systems for Project Success Business Unit. They will be responsible for creating

the overall design for the setup of a brand new PowerBi instance, that can scale for other departments and eventually an org-wide Power Bi implementation.

Company focuses in cutting edge renewable technology based out of the Portland, OR area.

Short term project anticipated to go around 3 months, significant possibility to be extended longer, but not guaranteed.

Bachelor's degree in Computer science or equivalent, with minimum 5+ years of relevant experience

5+ (open to less pending experience) of years of Power BI experience in SaaS based environments.

Experience with data visualizations with Jira is a must. Strong Jira experience is preferred.

Prior experience with setting up a data visualization instance from scratch is a must.

Data assessment, classification, preparation, remediation and readiness for Production.

Experience with technical change management and testing with Business Users.

Experience with full SLDC / project life-cycle from Discovery to go-live, with an Agile methodology is a must.

Understanding of JavaScript, CSS, SQL, and MS SQL Server is a must.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

This person MUST have experience with Jira integration to PowerBI

Data visualizations with Jira - experience setting up data visualization instance from scratch

SQL / MS SQL Server experience

Remote - can be anywhere in the US, preference on PST or MST candidates although not required
