Portfolio Analyst Jobs

The Man FRM Investment Management team has an international presence with members in New York, London and Switzerland. To strengthen our Investment Management team in New York we are looking for an investment professional who will be responsible for portfolio management and client support.

Specific Responsibilities

• Support the management of client portfolios through regular and diligent monitoring, planning and implementation in accordance to both internal and mandated guidelines.
• Ensure clients remain inflation through the production of client reporting, commentary and analysis, and provide support for client interactions.
• Interaction across both internal and external parties such as middle and back-office functions, credit and FX counterparties, to ensure the smooth operation of client portfolios.
• Be a driver of innovation across all processes and aspects of the management, reporting and oversight of client portfolios through the use of technology and better processes.
• Conduct in-depth analysis of client portfolios including performance measurement and attribution, benchmarking, liquidity, cost and risk.
• Provide support for the wider team of investment professionals in client solutions, including portfolio construction and management.

Key Competencies

• Undergraduate degree with proven 3-5 years of experience within the finance industry required
• Must convey excellent written skills
• Self-starter and goal orientated focus with ability to manage their own time effectively
• Strong numerical and analytical skills

· Strong project time management skills through effective scheduling and planning; ability to work under pressure to meet demanding deadlines

• Detailed knowledge of Microsoft office applications

Base Salary Range: The anticipated based salary range for this position is $100,000-$120,000 + benefits + a discretionary bonus. This is the base salary range that the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting based on the location and requirements of the position as well as the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant.
