Job Title: Portfolio Analyst
Corporate Title: Associate – Assistant Vice President
Location: Jacksonville, FL
Overview
Portfolio analysts are responsible for providing support to the portfolio managers in servicing client portfolios. As a member of the investment team, you are responsible for supporting the portfolio managers in the prospecting, implementation, and on-going monitoring of client’s portfolios. As a team player, you should have a strong desire for the breadth of the role and contribution; ability to perform duties ranging from day-to-day administration to high level portfolio management. You will need to work independently with minimal guidance and as part of a team.

What You’ll Do
- Assist the portfolio managers in managing and servicing the discretionary portfolio management (DPM) clients
- Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of the DPM platform
- Responsible for trust investment committee (TIC) and investment advisory committee (IAC) documentation including the (APT) risk questionnaire
- Keep controllable expenses such as overdrafts, errors, and claims to a minimum
- Assist the Portfolio Managers in coordinating overall investment strategy and portfolio construction in line with the overall strategic asset allocation
- Adhere to all regulatory policies and operating procedures; responsible for ensuring proper documentation is on file for all wire requests and following high risk media (HRM) policy
Skills You’ll Need
- Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Undergraduate degree in Business, Finance, or related field or equivalent work experience
Skills That Will Help You Excel
- Series 7 and Series 65/66
- An active communicator who engages with internal and external people; highly collaborative, open, transparent, decisive, able to drive decisions forward
- Relationship builder who develops trust and respect with internal and external stakeholders
- Organized and demonstrates sound judgment; strong analytical tool kit with the ability to instill trust and deliver the desired results
