Position Summary:
The Service Porter is responsible for performing a variety of duties as it relates to the maintenance and service of vehicles.

Essential Functions:

• Test batteries of customer vehicles in service drive
• Return vehicle keys to the appropriate service advisor
• Pick up parts from parts department
• Assist Service Advisors to retrieve customer vehicles from the lot.
• Inspect vehicles for stains, debris and damages before returning the vehicle to the customer, and report any damage immediately
• Fills loaners with gas.
• Ensures that all customer vehicles have a protective floor mat placed inside prior to service.
• Remove vehicle protective coverings and ID tags prior to returning completed vehicle to customer
• Drive customers and dealership vehicles in a responsible manner.
• Drives customer vehicle through the automatic carwash prior to returning the vehicle to the customer.
• Assist as required to maintain the service shop area and customer lounge
