Governance and Experience is a global team responsible for ensuring our marketplace is safe and trustworthy for not only our users, but also sellers and creators. We are looking for an experienced team leader to head our policy and operational efforts in North America regions and drive cross-functional collaboration across different regions.
Responsibilities
• Build out and lead an agile policy team complying with regional regulations, overseeing (i) Policymaking and Policy Implementation, (ii) Training Development, (iii) Knowledge Management, and (iv) Quality Management functions
• Lead, manage, recruit & develop a team of e-commerce policy manager and QA members, helping to maximize team potential and lead industry standards
• Collaborate and provide feedback to the global team of any regional policy improvements and product system updates
• Create an inspiring team environment with an open communication culture, utilizing clear goals and objective setting to help the team succeed
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree or above
• Exceptional interpersonal & communication skills and can perform in a matrix environment
• 4+ years of demonstrated experience in creating product policies, content policies or public policies. Preferably from e-commerce integrity or social media background
• 2+ years of experience in leading teams and managing people
• Expertise in eCommerce compliance requirements and/or tech policy management, with an acute business sense and situational awareness for risks
• Driven and self-motivated with a desire to keep improving

Job Information:
【For Pay Transparency】Compensation Description (annually)

The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $147000 - $270000 annually.

Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
