The TikTok Creator Marketing Solutions (TCMS) Global Product Marketing Team leads Product Marketing for all branded content tools across TikTok, including the TikTok Creator Marketplace, the official platform for brand and creator collaborations on TikTok. With TTCM, brands and agencies can browse and search TTCM's marketplace of over 800,000+ qualified creators across 24 countries, contact creators, and manage/track branded content campaigns and outsourced creative production. As the only creator marketplace in the industry that fosters two-way discovery, TTCM provides creators and brands with an opportunity to find each other, based on their nuanced interests, values, and goals, and our products and features are designed to further the real-world impact of TikTok creator marketing campaigns.
The Product Marketing Manager for TikTok Creator Marketplace will be responsible for strategic development, testing, launch, and ongoing education and marketing of branded content products, features, and programs. Our products and programs power the entire ecosystem of creator marketing - brands, creators, agencies, talent managers, producers, and more - that work behind the scenes to plan, negotiate, manage, and execute creator x brand content. This is a highly cross-functional role working with product, product marketing, product operations, education, business marketing, policy and legal teams across all of TikTok. This role is ideal for candidates with varied and deep experience with both inbound product marketing (product ideation, research, opportunity forecasting) and outbound product marketing (client facing, go-to-market planning, education, content).
Responsibilities:
- Lead product testing and outbound go-to-market efforts for priority branded content products and features, including GTM strategy, product and feature naming, development of value propositions and related communications, collaboration with content, marketing and education teams, success measurement and tracking, and post-launch optimizations
- Collaboration with data science, user research, and business intelligence, and product managers on inbound product marketing efforts, including identifying, sizing, and ranking high-priority segments of the market for product and platform expansion, understanding top verticals, channels, and regions globally, and building rock-solid business cases for innovative products as well as platform improvements.
- Set own measurable goals for product adoption by leveraging strong cross-functional relationships with teams across the company including Product, Product Operations, Data Science, Groth, and regional Product Marketing
- Be the voice of the customer to help influence key cross-functional strategy and leverage cross-TikTok resources to gain support, but also set firm expectations during the product ideation, development and launch processes
- Proactively and regularly document and communicate changes of product and policy with stakeholders across TikTok
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience
- 2+ years of product marketing or related go-to-market experience and a track record of launching products across multiple regions globally
- Passionate about supporting creators, with a deep knowledge of the creator economy ecosystem, including pains, jobs-to-be-done and motivators for clients, creators, creative agencies and talent agencies of all shapes and sizes. Deep understanding of branded content and digital advertising and knowledge of marketplace dynamics is preferred.
- Excellent written, verbal, and professional communication skills
- Highly-data driven with strong analytical skills used regularly in decision making
- A team player who is accountable, proactive, and solution-oriented
Preferred qualifications
- Fluency or native in Mandarin, for product launches and communication with external stakeholders

【For Pay Transparency】Compensation Description (annually)

The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $103200 - $180444 annually.

Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
