Plant Manager
:
Our Pipeline Industrial Materials (FlowChem) Manufacturing site in Prairie View, Texas is seeking a new Plant Manager to lead our dynamic team of Supply Chain and Operations professionals.
The Plant Manager will report directly to our Site Operations Director to provide leadership across all facility functions. Primary responsibilities include leading all production across a 24/5 schedule, in accordance with relevant safety, health, and environmental regulations and company operating procedures. The Plant Manager will foster the company’s safety and quality culture, handle the plant production cost, and develop and execute a plant strategic plan and promotes team work.

What You'll Do:
  • Drive a quality focus with the goal to provide the outstanding quality to the industry and build a proactive environment that identifies and solves problems for our customers' success.
  • Coordinate with business leadership and other business stakeholders to develop and execute a multi-year plant investment plan
  • Provide site leadership including oversight of EHS programs and sustainability efforts; maintain compliance and continuous improvement and ensure all activities performed onsite are performed safely.
  • Coordinate communication and interactions with governmental agencies, including requests for information, investigations / inspections and enforcement activities.
  • Encourage and develop the production team for greater performance.
  • Implement and share best practices with the production team.
  • Participate in and support ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 certifications.
What We Seek:
  • 5-7 years of demonstrated success in a manufacturing environment, ideally in the oil/gas or chemical industry
  • Experience in multi-functional administrative functions
  • High energy, motivation and dedication to take personal ownership of issues and drive them to outstanding outcomes.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and effectively in a team environment across multi-site organizations
  • Strong “consultant” skills, including the ability to influence and empower leaders and employees through collaborative engagement and building/maintaining relationships.
  • Bachelor of Science degree in engineering or similar discipline; focus on chemistry or chemical engineering preferred.
  • Strong business and commercial acumen
  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret technical reports and documents/standards, make sound judgments, and offer effective solutions.
  • Experience working with independent standards organizations and certification programs such as ISO 14001, ISO 45001, etc.
  • Proven success leading and developing a cross-functional team
  • Ability to handle and process confidential / critical information discretely
