Job Description
Our client is a manufacturer of specialty engineering materials used in multiple different industries. They currently seek a Plant Manager for their plant in north central LA. The ideal candidate should enjoy being out in the plant and getting involved in the technical aspects of the process like assisting with troubleshooting when needed. This person should be a strong leader that enjoys developing their team and mentoring young engineers. This position has promotional potential and offers excellent relocation packages.

As a Plant Manager job duties include, but are not limited to, the following:
  • Coach and develop employees; maintain team environment
  • Achieve production objectives within agreed time, cost, & quality parameters
  • Develop, create, and complete annual plans and capital projects as needed
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and company environmental, safety and health standards/policies
Salary Range: $170,000/year - $185,000/year plus 20% bonus

As a Plant Manager job requirements consist of, but are not limited to, the following:
  • 3+ years of leadership/supervision experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience in a PSM environment is a plus
  • 10+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, chemicals ideal but open to others
  • BS in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or other relevant science degree
