- Develop and manage the plant budget, including forecasting, cost control, and resource allocation, to meet production targets and financial objectives.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize production processes, reduce costs, and improve overall plant performance.
- Monitor and analyze production data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions to enhance overall plant efficiency.
- Lead and manage a team of manufacturing professionals, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure a high level of performance and job satisfaction.
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the manufacturing plant, ensuring efficiency, productivity, and quality standards are met.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and standards, including OSHA guidelines, to maintain a safe working environment for all employees.
- Maintain strong relationships with suppliers, vendors, and customers to ensure timely delivery of materials and products and address any customer concerns or inquiries.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, quality control, and maintenance, to drive continuous improvement initiatives and resolve any production-related issues.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and best practices to drive innovation and maintain a competitive edge in the market.
- Proven track record of successfully managing a manufacturing plant, with a focus on optimizing production processes, reducing costs, and improving overall plant performance.
- Proactive and results-oriented mindset, with a continuous improvement mindset and a drive for excellence.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and build strong relationships with stakeholders.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and experience in implementing safety programs to ensure a safe working environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Extensive experience with urethane manufacturing processes and equipment.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field is preferred, but equivalent experience will be considered.
- Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team to achieve goals and objectives.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the ceramic manufacturing industry.
