Job Details

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Plant Manager to join our dynamic team in the manufacturing industry. As the Plant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire manufacturing process and ensuring the smooth operation of our facility. This is a permanent position that offers tremendous growth opportunities and a chance to make a significant impact in the industry.

Responsibilities

• Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork, open communication, and a culture of continuous learning and development.
• Develop and manage the plant budget, including forecasting, cost control, and resource allocation, to meet production targets and financial objectives.
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize production processes, reduce costs, and improve overall plant performance.
• Monitor and analyze production data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions to enhance overall plant efficiency.
• Lead and manage a team of manufacturing professionals, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure a high level of performance and job satisfaction.
• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the manufacturing plant, ensuring efficiency, productivity, and quality standards are met.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and standards, including OSHA guidelines, to maintain a safe working environment for all employees.
• Maintain strong relationships with suppliers, vendors, and customers to ensure timely delivery of materials and products and address any customer concerns or inquiries.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, quality control, and maintenance, to drive continuous improvement initiatives and resolve any production-related issues.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and best practices to drive innovation and maintain a competitive edge in the market.

Qualifications

• Proven track record of successfully managing a manufacturing plant, with a focus on optimizing production processes, reducing costs, and improving overall plant performance.
• Proactive and results-oriented mindset, with a continuous improvement mindset and a drive for excellence.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and build strong relationships with stakeholders.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and experience in implementing safety programs to ensure a safe working environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
• Extensive experience with urethane manufacturing processes and equipment.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field is preferred, but equivalent experience will be considered.
• Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team to achieve goals and objectives.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the ceramic manufacturing industry.
