All about the role:


As HR Director you will drive the implementation of the Electrolux HR strategy and HR delivery model as part of the Anderson Food Preservation team at one of the largest sites in the company.

You will coach, collaborate, and partner with the line management team to provide leadership and proactive solutions for people and organizational issues. You will have impact in maintaining and improving the level of business literacy about the plant and product line’s financial position, strategic plans, and competition.


What you’ll do:


As Strategic Business Partner, you will:

  • Partner with the line management team to understand key performance issues, objectives and drivers and their implications for people and organizational strategies.
  • Use business knowledge, trend reporting and data to provide effective solutions which align with business goals
  • Understand key drivers and challenges of the business to provide specific coaching to line managers.


As Trusted Advisor you will build trust, credibility, and respect with business leaders to collaborate effectively.

  • Be able to influence and effectively convey messages through clear and consistent communication
  • Provide leadership and fosters constructive cross functional working relationships
  • Support roll out of global HR solutions to business unit, acting as a champion, engaging stakeholders, challenging, and coaching managers to gain buy in.


As Change Champion you will initiate, drive, and make change stick.

  • Build a case for why change matters, overcome resistance to change, engage key stakeholders in the process of change and drive processes to sustain change.
  • Champion new initiatives and act as a catalyst for change that drives continuous improvement in business performance.
  • Support delivery of the people strategy within the business sector through the identification and development of targeted HR/OD interventions to deliver business performance.


As Capability Builder you will optimize organizational effectiveness to drive the improvement of individual and team performance.

  • Coach, challenge, and support managers in their role on people development and organizational related processes
  • Effectively diagnose and analyze organizational capabilities to proactively develop and implement individual, team, and organizational improvements to support delivery of the business strategy
  • Select, retain, and develop the right talent and capabilities.


As true HR Innovator and Integrator, you will exhibit strong knowledge of core HR processes and leverage that knowledge to drive continuous improvement and innovation.

  • Develop tools in collaboration with Centers of Expertise and HR Services to maximize opportunities for economies of scale, global consistency, and shared learning
  • Support the development, execution and roll out of technology solutions to make HR processes more efficient, human and enable target groups within the company.
  • Proactively drives HR core processes in the business unit


Qualifications required:


  • Master’s degree and professional certification would be a plus
  • Demonstrated capability in several core areas of Human Resources (i.e., talent management, labor relations, compensation planning, etc.).
  • Demonstrated capability in building a team, leading change efforts, and establishing goals and objectives in support of factory and organization requirements.
  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Human Resources or Business
  • 7 + years HR experience in a manufacturing environment including large workforces- within a complex and matrix organization

This position will be based at our brand-new fridges manufacturing mega plan in Anderson, South Carolina. A $250 Million Investment with a state-of-the-art automation production core.
