Job Description

Primarily instructs Theater of the Oppressed and Theater and Social Justice classes open to all Pace students. Provides guidance and feedback to students to promote academic success.

Position Qualifications
  • MFA, PhD, or significant professional experience
  • Prior teaching experience at the higher education level preferred
  • Professional work in theater, film and TV.
  • Experience in civic engagement, advocacy and education, and specifically in Boal’s Theater of the Oppressed
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills

The ideal candidate is innovative, inspiring, and committed to Pace’s motto of Opportunitas, with experience in anti-racist teaching, mentoring, and administration as a color-conscious leader who promotes diversity, equity, and inclusion in education and theater.

Hire must have availability on Mondays of the fall semester.

Per Credit Rate Range
$1,160 – $1,610 per credit
