Job Description
Pollinate is a full-service creative agency based in downtown Portland, Oregon. Our clients recognize us as a marketing and advertising engine, powered by adaptability and creativity. We're seeking a Performance Media Specialist to join our growing Media Team.
We are looking to fill this position with a team player who is passionate about paid media campaigns and optimization as this role will be responsible for tracking, analyzing, optimizing and reporting across multiple clients and campaigns. A successful candidate will have excellent organizational, time management and collaboration skills with the ability to be adaptable in the always evolving media landscape.
While our headquarters are in downtown Portland, Oregon, we are open to this role being onsite, hybrid or fully remote within the United States.
Role
  • Research and evaluate emerging performance media trends, tracking best practices and related audience data management processes.
  • Develop, setup, traffic assets and monitor paid media campaign tracking including site pixeling and analysis of conversion paths.
  • Identify patterns and derive insights from data.
  • Experience utilizing first-party audience data, in-platform, preferred.
  • Extract and interpret data for client paid media campaigns, related site traffic and related consumer research.
  • Collaborate with the team to determine appropriate strategic direction.
  • Effectively handle multiple client media projects at any given time.
  • Skillfully optimize toward performance based on primary KPI(s) to meet or exceed client and performance media campaign goals.
  • Oversee and pace budgets.
  • Experience overseeing restricted advertising category campaign (ex. financial), preferred.
  • Execute and oversee paid search and paid social campaigns.
  • Weekly or twice weekly in-platform review of strategic optimizations.
Professional Skills
  • Skilled in deriving clear insights from digital campaign data and able to mentor team members in developing concise client reports.
  • Clear understanding of the digital media landscape, current industry best practices involving digital paid media tracking, trafficking, brand safety, analytics and reporting.
  • Tracking proficiency.
  • Experience determining strategic approach, setting-up campaigns, handling optimizations and implementation.
  • Superb interpersonal skills, interest in research, curious and adaptable as environments change (growth mindset)
  • Proficient with Google Ads, Google Analytics, Google Looker Studio, Google Tag Manager, Meta,,spreadsheets, and pivot tables.
  • GTM/pixel placement experience.
  • Experience utilizing campaign historical analytics to inform media campaign approach.
  • Skilled in optimizing toward CPA.
Organizational Responsibilities
  • Accurately and effectively tracks, summarizes, and reconciles media buys.
  • Accurately reports weekly time with appropriate level of detail.
  • Estimate work effort for assigned tasks and meets deadline commitments.
  • Effectively communicate performance media concepts to clients and colleagues.
  • Complete training goals as defined.
