Job Description

Mattel163 is looking for a Data Analyst, Performance Marketing to join our world class user acquisition team in Los Angeles. You will be responsible for evaluating the impact of paid media campaigns, measuring and monitoring end-to-end marketing funnel performance, and performing analyses to optimize campaign performance. You are familiar with mobile attribution methodolgies, feel comfortable with languages like SQL, enjoy working cross functionally to conduct independent analysis and develop marketing roadmaps & forecasts.


POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Monitor and report on campaign performance across active ad networks on an ongoing basis.
  • Work together with data and business intelligence teams to improve marketing attribution & measurement methodologies, and develop dashboards/reports to improve campaign reporting and transparency.
  • Translate complex data sets into digestible insights, and present analysis conclusions to business stakeholders in a clear and practical way.
  • Assist with the design & analysis of A/B tests and other marketing experiments.
  • Creating tooling for evaluating campaign and creative performance, allocating budgets, and setting targets.
  • Lead the analysis and interpretation of performance marketing data, and provide actionable market and player insights to address key strategic & tactical questions.
  • Identify optimization opportunities across various media channels such as Unity Ads, Google Ads, Facebook and others, to improve new player acquisition, retention, ROAS, LTV, ARPPU, DAU, ARPDAU etc.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally and to assist with the planning, forecasting and measuring of marketing KPIs, roadmaps and initiatives.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

  • Good knowledge of Chinese (written and oral).
  • Excellent sense of organization and great autonomy, enjoy individual and teamwork.
  • Sensitivity to data quality and deep quantitative analysis skills.
  • Proficiency in SQL and experience with business intelligence tools.
  • Ability to deliver clean, accurate and understandable data visualization and dashboards and presentations.
  • 2+ years of experience in digital marketing data analysis, media mix modeling (MMM), advertising effectiveness analysis or other related experience.
  • Strong understanding of performance marketing in a games/app context, including familiarity with attribution logic, industry platforms & tools.
  • Knowledge of and passion for mobile games.
