Job Description

Our Human Resources Department is focused on ALDI’s most valuable asset: our people. In this role, the ideal candidate has experience working in a fast paced and growing organization. Focused specifically on performance management technology, the ideal candidate has experience with conceptualizing performance strategy and technology road-maps while also managing the design, development, and maintenance of programs that impact company success. If selected for this role, you’ll have an opportunity to support store, warehouse, and corporate staff and leaders by building scalable solutions from the ground up. This role will be the primary system administrator for ALDI’s Performance Management System.

Position Type: Full-Time
Starting Wage: $34.75 per hour
Work Location: Naperville, IL
This role is eligible to participate in ALDI’s Hybrid Work Program, which allows remote work up to 3 days per week (i.e., work remotely up to 3 days per week; work in-office at least 2 days per week).

Duties and Responsibilities:
Must be able to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation.

  • Serves as a technical point-of-contact for performance Management Cornerstone OnDemand and assists subject matter experts.
  • Maintains and sets up new system configurations for Performance Management (using Cornerstone OnDemand).
  • Runs periodic audits with system configuration and security roles to ensure data consistency and accuracy.
  • Provides ongoing assistance to users of Performance Management system, and assists with developing and delivering user training.
  • Understands ALDI competency models, and amends current programs and materials to reflect these models as needed.
  • Ensures that required and necessary documentation is completed and properly maintained to provide substantiation and assist with future audits.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Assists with system security setups ensuring access is given appropriately to new users based on security rights and needs.
  • Recommends process improvements for area of responsibility.
  • Upholds the security and confidentiality of documents and data within area of responsibility.
  • Understands developing trends in the performance management industry, and shares with their team and others in Human Resources.
  • Develops and maintains standard and custom reports to meet the reporting requirements for all levels of the company, and ensures all reports are implemented in a timely manner using high quality data presented in a logical and understandable format.
  • Collaborates with team members and communicates relevant information to leadership.
  • Pro-actively lead activities around performance planning including awareness of enhancement functionality and a future roadmap to support Aldi’s Performance Management current and future needs.

Education and Experience:

  • A minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in Training & Development within a corporate environment required.
  • Experience with SharePoint, Learning Management Systems, and instructional design software preferred.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development or a related field required.
  • Or, a combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.
  • Experience implementing and working with Performance Management Software, preferably, Cornerstone OnDemand.

Physical Requirements:
  • Regularly required to sit, reach, grasp, stand and move from one area to another.
  • Work is performed in an office environment where a computer, telephone and other office equipment are used as needed to perform duties.
  • Occasionally required to push, pull, bend, lift and move up to 25 lbs.
  • Constantly and repeatedly use keyboard/mouse.
