Our client, a Credit Hedge Fund, is currently seeking a Performance Analyst to join their Reporting team. As a Performance Analyst, you will play a key role in designing and developing reporting for various investment funds, including Flagship Distressed Hedge Funds, Private Credit Funds, and Special Situation Opportunity Funds. You will collaborate directly with senior stakeholders, including the CFO, COO, PMs, and front-office investment committees, on special projects and provide analytical support for key business decisions, with a focus on macro market data. Additionally, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining marketing materials such as track records and performance updates, as well as handling ad hoc investor inquiries.



Responsibilities:

  • Handle ad hoc investor inquiries.
  • Create and maintain marketing materials, including track records and performance updates.
  • Design and develop reporting for various investment funds, including Hedge Funds, Private Credit Funds, and Special Situation Opportunity Funds.
  • Provide analytical support for key business decisions, leveraging macro market data.
  • Collaborate with senior stakeholders on special projects, working closely with the CFO, COO, PMs, and front-office investment committees.


Skills and Requirements:

  • Demonstrated strong academic track record, including high SAT scores and GPA.
  • Flexible and quick learner with the ability to multitask.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel and experience analyzing large data files. Knowledge of programming languages such as SQL, Python, and VBA is a bonus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong team contributor with a proactive drive to deliver results.
  • CFA certification or a desire to pursue CFA is preferred.
  • 3-8 years of experience in a hedge fund or financial institution, with familiarity in risk and return concepts such as alpha, IRR, ROA, ROE, Multiple of Money, Beta, Volatility, etc. Experience with Private Credit and BDCs is a plus.
  • Strong project management skills.


Competitive Salary based of level of experience. Base Salary ranges anywhere from $100,000-$175,000
