What you will be doing:

  • Support and implement programs to promote employee engagement, well-being, and career development, supporting a culture of continuous learning and growth.
  • Support HR projects and initiatives aimed at improving operational efficiency and employee satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives, fostering an environment where everyone feels valued and respected.
  • Conduct investigations and handle employee relations matters in a timely and confidential manner, promoting a respectful and inclusive work environment.
  • Active on the Safety Committee and building safety procedures.
  • Ability to work independently with good judgment and decision-making skills.
  • Stay informed about industry best practices and legal requirements to ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously, take initiative, and collaborate with team members to meet and exceed internal customer expectations.
  • Foster an inclusive and welcoming onboarding experience for new hires, providing them with the necessary resources and information to succeed.
  • Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR policies, procedures, and performance management, ensuring fair and consistent application.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to identify talent needs and support full-cycle recruitment processes, ensuring a diverse candidate pool through proactive sourcing strategies.
  • Administer HR programs, including benefits enrollment, leave management, and HRIS maintenance, ensuring accurate and up-to-date employee records.


What competencies do you need:

  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations, with experience handling employee relations matters.
  • Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, with the ability to implement inclusive practices and initiatives.
  • A proactive and solutions-oriented mindset, with the ability to navigate ambiguity and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Experience with full-cycle recruitment processes, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer negotiation.
  • Minimum of 2+ years of experience in HR generalist roles, preferably in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate with employees at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to set and manage priorities. Ability to plan, organize, prioritize and multi-task a variable workload with attention to detail.
