Peek Beverage Server - Part Time (Lake Tahoe)

This position is responsible for providing Nightclub guests with a personalized booth service experience that is fun, friendly, memorable, and safe.

KEY JOB FUNCTIONS :

• Required to work other special events in the SSR.
• Other duties include: maintaining awareness of all areas of the Nightclub, i.e.: other Booth Host’s sections, Service Bar assistance and the Front Door to ensure the highest level of service.
• Inform Nightclub Manager of any safety hazards or missing club furniture.
• Complete end-of-night closing tasks in booth areas to include cleaning of cocktail tables, couches, and surrounding area.
• Follows a detailed dress code by wearing appropriate, provocative uniform as defined by Caesars Entertainment Inc. Men/Women will be required to wear themed uniforms that are short, small, and conform tightly to the body.
• Other functions may include club promotions, participation in liquor offerings, and any other special event duties.
• Follows strict adherence to policies and applicable laws surrounding beverage service.
• Participate in the “light brigade” procession when guest’s order super premium bottles.
• Monitors guest consumption and intervenes as needed according to guidelines.
• Interacts with guests in an upbeat, enthusiastic and positive manner by creating an entertaining atmosphere while serving customers at assigned stations through a focused, professional and attentive service experience. Expectation for focused and attentive service is that the Booth Host spends 85%-90% of their time in the front of house Nightclub.
• Takes orders for and serves beverages to customers in an effort to provide “world class service.”
• Required to rotate into other positions as needed, ie: door host, cashier and busser.
• Provides personalized service and uses guest name.
• Greets all Night Club guests upon arrival and explains facilities, services, and attractions available for their comfort and pleasure.
• Provides guests with information about the daily activities in the hotel/casino.
• Maintain battery life in cocktail tables and menus as needed.
• Resolves service problems according to guidelines.
• Remains immediately available during assigned shift to respond to guest needs and expectations.
• Remains in designated section when not picking up orders/items from the service bar area.
• Adheres to Department Service Standards; (i.e.: acknowledge and welcome guests within a 2 minute time span.)
• Takes direction from the Nightclub Manager to ensure the highest level of service.
• Prepares drinks for guests and maintains cleanliness of booth
• Maintains booths and all other assigned areas in a neat and serviceable condition.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior modeling, beverage serving or entertainer experience preferred

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Adheres to all regulatory, company and department policies and procedures
• Excellent guest service and interpersonal skills
• Must be 21 or older. Must be able to obtain a license from the Gaming Control Board.
• Must have the “Harrah’s Personal Best Image”: as outlined in the Procedure guide. Employee must maintain the necessary physical appearance, a mandatory weight measurement will be taken when the Employee is hired (Employment Figure)*
• Acts as a role model to other Team Members and always presents oneself as a credit to Caesars Entertainment and encourages others to do the same.
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to uphold and demonstrate the highest level of integrity in all situations and recognize standards required by a regulated business
• Fluent and literate in English
• Good customer service skills
• Must be able to maintain upbeat and positive personality for extended periods of time while working
• Ability to accurately handle cash

*Employment Figure

• Ability to work in a dark environment
• Able to work at a fast pace in often crowded/noisy environment
• Ability to lift trays and carry orders weighing up to 30 lbs.
• Ability to walk or stand for eight hours
