Job Description
Summary
In this role, you will be managing and facilitating change as it relates to payroll processes and business requirements. Support the U.S. and Canada Payroll team to ensure successful navigation and adoption to changes which includes defining eligibility rules, user acceptance testing and analyze the potential impact of proposed changes, processes and people and provide recommendation on how to mitigate risk.GE HealthCare is a leading global medical technology and digital solutions innovator. Essential Responsibilities
• Own business requirements, GE HealthCare’s SOPs and payroll portal content
• Manage the impact analysis and change management related to the payroll system feature releases, including reviewing, and prioritizing which features to enable in payroll system
• Create and execute GE HealthCare’s user acceptance testing (UAT) scenarios for general release updates
• Process improvements and business change implementation support (I.e. M&A))
• Define deduction and earning codes, employee eligibility rules and calculations (PCCD)
• Define and manage approvals of end-user security, employee, HR and/or People Leader
• Drive project execution including but not limited to creating project plans, tracking/reporting progress and ensuring adherence to deadlines and project methodologies
• Work collaboratively across internal teams and establish strong working relationships with the business and key stakeholders in solving complex issues
• Coordinate with stakeholders across the business to establish project plans and timelines
• Drive process improvement projects and implementation with a focus on customer satisfaction and standardization
• Participates/leads in medium sized projects or contributes to a bigger project. Projects have a medium-term horizon.
• Ensure programs and practice changes are compliant within legal guidelines
• Develop broad knowledge of processing procedures to ensure successful execution
Qualifications/Requirements
  • All candidates must have a minimum of 5+ years of experience in Project management/process improvement/quality role
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college in related area (or a high school graduate/GED or equivalent with at least 4 years of relevant work experience).

• Payroll or HR Operations/HR Shared Service oriented environment or related work experience a plus
• Solid interpersonal skills; ability to work effectively in a team-based environment
• Strong customer service focus, with the ability to anticipate customer needs with a high level of responsiveness
• Proficiency in HR systems (ex. Workday) and technologies
• Ability to quickly embrace new technologies
• Experience establishing and maintaining customer and supplier relationships

• Applies solid judgment ensuring integrity, compliance, & confidentiality
• Passion for continuous process improvement and simplification
• Ability to anticipate and resolve challenges
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proven ability to organize and analyze data
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Self-starter who can manage multiple tasks simultaneously with minimal supervision
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing across all levels within the organization
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft applications: Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
