Job Description

Position : Accountant

Location : Austin, TX 78723(Remote)

Duration : 9+ Months


Additional Notes:will be onsite for training of 2-3 weeks, after which it is 100% remote


RESPONSIBILITIES:-

  • Assist team with full-cycle accounting processes with a focus on monthly closing activities.
  • Maintain journal entries and ledger accounts and ensure reconciliation of all statements/accounts according to US GAAP.
  • Assist with implementation and maintenance of internal financial controls and procedures
  • Analyze accounting processes, identify issues and perform research on all solutions to ensure efficient workflows.
  • Maintain records of accounting transactions and evaluate results efficiently.
  • Prepare tax computations and returns


QUALIFICATIONS:-

  • Ability to translate contractual information into financial terms
  • Excellent communication skills
  • CPA or future CPA candidates highly valued
  • Understanding of revenue recognition for entertainment companies
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years accounting experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
  • NetSuite and Concur experience preferred
  • Exposure to YouTube, digital entertainment, SVOD and the world of social media influencers a plus
