Job Description

If so, we have an opportunity for you to be a leader and set the standard.


We are seeking a Payments Support Specialist to support Merchant Services Sales and partner with inside sales reps and account managers to ensure a smooth and efficient process from beginning to end. Our support oriented team is focused on excellent sales support and customer service. You will be the payments support specialist and will take on national account boarding, interface with various payment processors and payment gateways for such things as ISO-level disputes, communications and updates, being a live knowledge base when the broader operations team needs answers to specialized questions. You will be that primary point of contact. You will also be looked upon to assist, own and tackle projects and testing for our payments processing products. Attention to detail is a critical requirement for this role. You will need to ensure that all tasks are completed with the highest level of accuracy and precision.

What You Will Do Everyday


  • Be the go to person for the bigger operations team that includes technical support, sales, engineering, and product specialists for those hard to answer questions and challenges with all things Merchant Services
  • Be the interface with the various payment gateways and processors we work with
  • Run with projects such as: assisting with diligence on acquisitions, testing, documenting bugs, coordinating with Product and Engineering for EMV terminal roll-out, and the migration of acquired customers from legacy processors to direct integrations just to name a few
  • Partner with our inside sales team to onboard new customers, upgrade existing customers to ensure a smooth transition with our product
  • Be the driving force managing our BI request backlog on behalf of SLMS Sales and Support teams
  • Craft ISO-level dispute responses, communications and updates
  • Be the point of contact for all national account boarding and provide stellar customer service to those high touch clients
  • Own and drive the documentation for boarding processes to ramp future sales support reps and all the support processes and common cases to ramp up the Merchant Service Tech Support team


What You Need To Bring To The Table


  • Ability to follow directions and learn new systems quickly and thrive in a fast-paced working environment.
  • Experience with data entry with high attention to detail while handling highly sensitive information
  • Merchant Services and payments processing support experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, specifically with customer interfacing


Bonus Points For Experience With


  • An associates and/or a bachelor’s degree
  • Knowledge of ISO standards
