Position Summary
seeks a Payment Processor responsible for setting up and managing financial transactions for the loan portfolio. The individual will also generate monthly reports as needed in relation to payment processing and loan portfolio balances. This position will be a part of the Investor Reporting and Compliance Department supporting the success of the team.
Essential Responsibilities
Small Business Lending - Ventures Payment Processing

• Sets up ACH for newly funded loans
• Responsible for verifying accuracy of interest calculations for irregular payments
• Processes loan deferments
• Identify ACH returns and post reversal of payment within Ventures
• Runs monthly for Line of Credit Paydown
• Processes loan payments (ACH NACHA import and manual entry of checks)
• Assist with reconciling cash monthly.
• Board new loans and post disbursements in Ventures
• Update ACH information for existing loans in Ventures
• Remove all paid-off loans from ACH.
• Notify Accounting and Collections Teams of rejected payments
• Responsible for processing and recording payment accurately, timely and efficiently in Ventures
• Assists with depositing borrower payments to bank when needed
• Respond to all payment related questions
• Generates and sends monthly billing statements to borrowers

Community Development Lending - McCracken Payment Processing

• Assist in emailing monthly borrower invoices and annual statements
• Other duties as assigned
• Process loan payoff requests from Loan Servicing
• Set up new pre-authorized transaction records to the loan accounting system for borrowers and process changes/terminations
• Loan File Maintenance
• Assist with reconciling loan system related general ledger accounts. Prepare journal entries needed to clear outstanding items.
• Process requested loan and loan system file maintenance
• Daily monetary processing to include: incoming payments for posting to loan system, pre-authorized loan payments, loan payoffs, NSF returns, loan advances, escrow, insurance and reserve disbursements, track unapplied payments, Reconcile all cash transactions
• Add deferred fees and cost records to the loan accounting system

Professional Skills, Education And Experience

• Minimum of 1 year experience in handling loan or payment processing
• High School Diploma; college degree or coursework in Accounting preferred. Education level will be considered on a holistic basis considering both education and work experience.
• Experience with various types of principal and interest calculations
• Ventures Lending Technology software preferred
• Proficiency in Excel
