Job Title: Patient Recruitment Specialist

Location: Pasadena, CA

Compensation: $25-$32/hr

Healthcare, Accrued Paid Time Off, 401K offered

Type: Full Time Permanent – Direct hire with the client

Job Summary: The primary focus of the Patient Recruitment Specialist is to assist with study volunteer recruitment for all enrolling studies. This person will provide support functions for the Research Coordinators and Clinical Assistants and will play a critical role in building a database of willing and qualified study volunteers

Duties Include

• Responsible for recruiting subjects for all enrolling studies
• Identify potential volunteers by reviewing medical records
• Establish a working relationship with the Clinic Team
• Request medical records of potential and current research participants
• Utilize proper phone and email etiquette to liaison with referring physicians
• Communicate with potential subjects and schedule appointments for screening visits

Other Skills And Abilities

• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Word and Excel
• Effective participant as a team member
• Familiar with CRM programs (preferred)
• Clinical Conductor (preferred)
• Strong follow through skills and ability to proactively identify and solve problems
• Must meet recruitment scheduling goals
• Must have strong communication skills

Education And Experience

• Familiarity with medical terminology
• Ability to prioritize and work on multiple projects at a time
• Additional languages encouraged
• High School, GED and/or some college
• Clinical research or medical experience preferred
