The primary functions of this position are to develop, nurture and manage relationships with (a) patient advocacy groups, (b) patient support groups, (c) investigator sites, (d) patients, and (e) other people and organizations for the purpose of maximizing subject participation in multicenter clinical trials. The position will represent a marketing function to support multicenter trials under management and will work collaboratively with other Clinilabs departments to optimize subject screening and enrollment.
A BS/BA in marketing, business, public relations or a related field, a minimum of 2 years of relevant marketing, subject recruitment, or investigator site liaison experience; proven track record of successfully building and nurturing relationships with patients, patient support groups, and/or investigator sites, with the ability to encourage subject screening and enrollment in multicenter clinical trials; excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills; strong networking and interpersonal skills, team building skills; ability to manage multiple tasks/relationships at once; must be proficient in Word, Excel and PowerPoint and in Salesforce.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The activities of the Patient Engagement and Advocacy Manager include, but are not limited to:
- Engage with and assist in organizing clinical trial participation awareness events, learning engagements, and virtual presentations to support multicenter trials managed by Clinilabs as well as our wholly owned clinical research units.
- Building relationships with patients, patient support and advocacy groups, investigators and site staff, and others to support subject screening and enrollment in multicenter clinical trials.
- Assist in the development of materials and digital assets that will support subject screening and enrollment in clinical trials.
- Communicates directly with patients and subject recruitment vendors to support subject screening and enrollment in clinical trials.
- Other duties as required.
- Work with Clinilabs sales team, operations staff, and legal department to solidify relationships with referring physicians and organizations.
- Travel to professional conferences, patient support group meetings, customer meetings, and other meetings as needed.
- Document work activities in Salesforce or other applications (e.g., time management system)
- Communicate with investigators and investigator site staff to identify and understand the motivations and unmet needs that may create barriers to subject participation in clinical trials managed by the company, and work to overcome them.
For NYC, salary will depend on experience, starting range from $!25,000 - $135,000 per year.
