:

As a part time tutor, working a minimum of 35 hours per week, you will be responsible for the following:

• Attend administrative meetings with company managers
• Keep up with all required internal training, and any changes implemented in internal tutoring related processes, operations, content and communication with parents
• Be a team player and have the ability to clearly communicate with all stakeholders
• Make phone calls to parents to discuss about the performance of their student(s)
• Record tutorial videos for teaching math concepts
• Send Weekly Reports and Progress Reports to keep parents updated on Student work
• Maintain communications with parents via email, phone, or SMS/Text to answer questions regarding tutoring sessions, student progress, math assignments, school or homework help etc among other related topics
• Conduct live one-on-one or group tutoring sessions with students in grades K – 12 (depending on your area of expertise, you may be hired to teach elementary, middle, or high school students)

Requirements:

You will be available to work for a minimum of 35 hours a week and can work weekends as well depending on the needs of the company and your availability.

You can pick the hours and days you want to work based on discussions with your hiring manager. You must be available to conduct live one-on-one or group tutoring sessions with students after school hours between 3 pm and 10 pm EST on weekdays or between 9 am and 3 pm on weekend days.

• Proven track record of dependability and professionalism
• Good interpersonal and rapport building skills
• Ability to handle process changes and thrive in an adaptive environment
• Strong communication skills to share insights into why students make errors
• Confident in using and learning new technology
• Ability to teach the subject matter using socratic methods and real life examples
• Awareness of the Common Core and Curriculum across the US
• Excellent communication skills with parents and students
• Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in elementary/ middle or high school
