We are seeking part-time employees (Member Advocates) to support our clients by taking phone calls regarding employee benefit enrollment. This is a meaningful role in which you can take pride in knowing that at the other end of our technology is a person, a family member, or a loved one that needs your support.

Benefit Center Member Advocate Schedule/Hours:
- 6:00 AM MST - 6:00 PM Mountain Standard Time
- Part-time Advocates must work a minimum of two hours per shift
- 5:00 AM PST - 5:00 PM Pacific Standard Time
- Schedule must fall between Monday – Friday (we are not open weekends)
- Hours worked (M-F) must fall within the following windows:
- Work One Day a Week or Five: Mornings, Afternoons, or Evenings. Twenty hours a week, thirty-five, or something in between!
Benefit Center Member Advocate Details:
- Take accountability for entire process from receipt of work to resolution
- Ensure compliance in all areas of processing, completing all transactions timely and accurately
- Answer a broad range of inbound calls (in support of clients) in a professional, energetic, and positive manner
- Respond accurately and thoroughly to caller inquiries and document call detail accordingly
What You Need to Make the Cut:
- Strong interpersonal skills to find success in every opportunity
- Ability to adhere to an established schedule and attendance policies: you can create a highly customized schedule that suits you…however (once set) the expectation is that you consistently and reliably maintain the agreed upon days/hours of your schedule.
- Comfort level with technology – we are a technology company!
- Strong customer-centric mindset
- Experience with Health Spending Accounts (FSA & HSA) (preferred but not necessary)
- Team player mentality, someone who strives for excellence
- Healthcare benefits or insurance industry experience (preferred but not necessary)
- Exceptional phone etiquette and communication skills
BYOT (Bring Your Own Technology) - In This Role You Will Utilize Your Own Technology
We Require that You Have:
- Ethernet Cable Connection
- USB Enabled Headset
- Windows Enabled PC/Laptop or MacBook (Chromebooks and Tablets are NOT supported)
- Internet speeds of above 50 Mbps (Download) and 5 Mbps (Upload)
We also highly recommend that applicants possess a 2nd monitor (screen) when performing the role.
Training:
- However, there will be up to 40 hours available each week to complete training. The amount of time needed for self-guided training sessions depends on each individual and the pace of learning they are most comfortable with. New advocates can complete the self-guided learning as fast or as slow as they prefer, if it is completed by the specific dates given.
- Training will be a combination of live virtual classroom training and self-paced coursework (all completed from your home).
- On average, new Advocates will spend 25 hours each of the three weeks completing training.
- Businessolver will provide a 3-week (16-workday) training program (paid) prior to “going live”.
