Job Description

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Valid AR Class D driver’s license
  • Driving record acceptable to insurance carrier
  • Ability to lift large containers of food

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES

  • Ability to read a map
  • Knowledge of metropolitan geography
  • Knowledge of traffic laws
  • Ability to exercise patience with others
  • Ability to read, and write
  • Knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Loads meals and/or assists passengers on/off van as needed
  • Obeys all traffic laws
  • Logs daily beginning and ending mileage
  • Runs scheduled route for pick-up and/or delivery
  • Uses most direct route to minimize time and distance traveled
  • Conducts daily safety inspection
  • Reports vehicle malfunction to supervisor immediately
  • Keeps vehicle clean
  • Turns in completed checklists weekly to supervisor
  • Contacts dispatcher of unusual situation regarding client
  • Completes daily maintenance sheet

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $12.15 - $14.18 per hour
