Position


The Parts and Supply Chain Specialist is responsible for managing information, systems, and process flows surrounding the company’s inventory. This position provides specialized assistance to our customers by acting on a variety of requests including, but not limited to ordering parts, pricing related projects, and other related activities that will support sales associates, service management and technicians in achieving excellent customer service. This position will act as a liaison between Engineering, Customer Care managers, Accounting and Customers to ensure all orders meet the Concentric standards.


Key Job Responsibilities


  • Purchase parts and materials fulfilling technician orders.
  • Support service team with parts and inventory inquiries.
  • Maintain master list of freight rates; prepare ship tickets, packing lists, SOL’s and PO’s.
  • Generate quotes for large part/purchase orders.
  • Facilitate new customer paperwork with help from accounting.
  • Maintain accurate inventory counts.
  • Unpack received goods and check receipts against purchase orders or invoices.
  • Manage inventory by sourcing and ordering parts, determine pricing, and pull and ship parts.
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
  • Manage scrap process by maintaining scrap records and coordinate pickup and shipping.
  • Manage order related communications with customers (both internal and external) and vendors.


Key Performance Measurements


  • Management observation regarding attitude, diligence, team contributions, and willingness & ability to learn new skills and information.
  • A score card that reflects team performance in areas such as safety, efficiency, inventory value & turns, customer satisfaction, and issue resolution.
  • Other key metrics prescribed by Concentric Motive Power leadership, resulting in positive customer and Company impact.


Requirements


  • Strong communication, problem solving, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other departments toward the greater good of the organization.
  • Ability to organize his/her own work and work independently, with limited supervision.
  • Two years related experience and/or training with technical products within ERP systems.
  • Ability to work with individuals from diverse backgrounds and with diverse needs, and across remote offices.
  • High School or GED Diploma required. Prefer an Associate Degree from an approved two-year college or university or very strong equivalent experience.
  • Ability to clearly articulate ideas (both written and verbal) to both internal and external customers and to listen effectively to customer needs.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel and Word.
  • Must have attention to detail with an eye for accuracy.
