The Lenovo UDS (User, Device, Service) platform is Leading with Cloud and AI to drive software Innovation and Transformation focusing on Lenovo Device Value, UX, and as the “glue” for new Solutions. Our UDS Cloud Platform is a global and micro-services-based architecture for public and private clouds.


Lenovo is looking for a Strategic Partner Manager to drive strategic product alignment and partner integration.


About the role:


  • As a Strategic Partner Manager (SPM) you will work on a range of diverse partner solution implementation projects, defining product requirements (PRDs), and providing product and technical leadership.
  • You will influence Lenovo’s senior leadership to adopt partner product strategy building upon a deep understanding of business, products and services, the category, and the needs of the Lenovo and Partner solution.
  • You will drive complex strategically important projects collaborating across organizational lines to clarify ambiguity and deliver outcomes.
  • You will track progress of the project and partner integration, managing timelines for delivery and maintaining communication of project to key stakeholders.
  • You will function as a focal point for partner recommendations from the partner into Lenovo Product and Engineering teams.
  • You will manage and analyze ongoing business relationships in tandem with Sales and Marketing Managers to improve customer experience, feature adoption, registrations, trial-to-paid conversions, retention, and up-sells.


About You:


  • Knowledgeable about Windows platform, applications, and cloud services.
  • You manage complex change efforts through influence, persuasion, and relationships.
  • You can understand consumer software solutions, SaaS, software delivery, PC ecosystem, B2B2C deployment models, and partner engagement.
  • Comfortable and credible in front of partners and executives, sales teams, and engineers, presenting new products and collaborating on technical solutions.
  • You understand the importance of research, metrics, telemetry, and product testing.


Basic Qualifications


  • Experience with SaaS offerings
  • Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Software Engineering and/or Management or relevant experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in Business Development, Partner Management, Product Management or Account Management in Security, Software, and/or PC Hardware.


Preferred Experience


  • Master's degree
  • Positive outlook in meeting challenges and working at a high level
  • Project management and leadership skills are essential
  • Extensive knowledge and experience working with operating systems
  • Experience developing cloud services and cloud infrastructure
  • Current understanding of best practices regarding system security measures
  • Professional experience working with and analyzing computer hardware and software
  • Advanced understanding of business analysis techniques and processes
