Description And Requirements
- As a Strategic Partner Manager (SPM) you will work on a range of diverse partner solution implementation projects, defining product requirements (PRDs), and providing product and technical leadership.
- You will influence Lenovo’s senior leadership to adopt partner product strategy building upon a deep understanding of business, products and services, the category, and the needs of the Lenovo and Partner solution.
- You will drive complex strategically important projects collaborating across organizational lines to clarify ambiguity and deliver outcomes.
- You will track progress of the project and partner integration, managing timelines for delivery and maintaining communication of project to key stakeholders.
- You will function as a focal point for partner recommendations from the partner into Lenovo Product and Engineering teams.
- You will manage and analyze ongoing business relationships in tandem with Sales and Marketing Managers to improve customer experience, feature adoption, registrations, trial-to-paid conversions, retention, and up-sells.
- Knowledgeable about Windows platform, applications, and cloud services.
- You manage complex change efforts through influence, persuasion, and relationships.
- You can understand consumer software solutions, SaaS, software delivery, PC ecosystem, B2B2C deployment models, and partner engagement.
- Comfortable and credible in front of partners and executives, sales teams, and engineers, presenting new products and collaborating on technical solutions.
- You understand the importance of research, metrics, telemetry, and product testing.
- Experience with SaaS offerings
- Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Software Engineering and/or Management or relevant experience.
- 5+ years of experience in Business Development, Partner Management, Product Management or Account Management in Security, Software, and/or PC Hardware.
- Master's degree
- Positive outlook in meeting challenges and working at a high level
- Project management and leadership skills are essential
- Extensive knowledge and experience working with operating systems
- Experience developing cloud services and cloud infrastructure
- Current understanding of best practices regarding system security measures
- Professional experience working with and analyzing computer hardware and software
- Advanced understanding of business analysis techniques and processes
