Part Time Sales Associate

Entry-level position – will train!

About: The Snohomish Co-Op is a retail farm & feed store with a gas station. We have been serving the local Snohomish community for over 85 years. We are adamantly dedicated to our employees, community, and membership. We are looking for both long-term candidates willing to grow within our small business and part-time associates.

Summary: Salary range $16.00-$18.00 per hour based on previous work history, benefits included. A retail sales associate at the Snohomish Co-Op provides high levels of customer service to everyone who walks through our doors.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform other duties as assigned by management
• Keep the store clean and tidy
• Provide customers with assistance pumping propane & fuel
• Perform basic retail sales duties, including up-selling and cross-selling products
• Restock shelves with products & remerchandise sections of the store with instruction
• Assist customers with specialized farm and feed knowledge
• Operate cash register & POS system
• Seasonally -- assist customers with baby chick & poultry purchases
• Coordinate answering phones, and in-store customers
• Assist with counting items for inventory maintenance

Qualifications:

• Farm experience and knowledge is highly preferred
• Must have scheduling flexibility -- mornings, evenings, & weekends
• Must be 18+
• Must be able to consistently lift 50+ pounds repeatedly
• High School Diploma or GED
• Full and part time positions available
