Electric Bass Instructor, Part-Time

The Position:
The Levine Music Guitar Department is seeking an electric bass instructor to teach in person at several campuses, effective immediately. Candidates should be highly organized, passionate about teaching and have experience teaching students of all ages with a broad range of abilities and backgrounds in both private and group class settings. Ideally, candidates should have a strong jazz or other contemporary style background in music performance, music education or equivalent experience. Candidates should be comfortable teaching a wide variety of musical styles, including blues, jazz, rock and other popular guitar styles.

Successful candidates will join a collegial team of teachers committed to teaching at the highest level, and will have the opportunity to become a full-time instructor as time, demand, and scheduling constraints allow. Performance opportunities may also be possible for those with strong performance backgrounds.

Compensation will be awarded according to qualifications and experience.
