FlightWorks, Inc. seeks a part-time IT Associate at our corporate office in Kennesaw, Georgia. This is a 16-20 hour work week with a flexible schedule. After 3 months of service, on call will be added to the schedule.
The candidate should be a technically skilled; a customer service-oriented team member; and have strong interpersonal skills that facilitate communication with co-workers, and supervisors. Problem solvers that are comfortable in dynamic, fluid environments are highly desired. - Sets up, configures, and Supports Windows laptops, desktops, iPads and iPhones. (Hardware and software)
- Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within general desktop support.
- Plays a pro-active role in the IT department.
- Self-starter with the ability to work with limited supervision.
- Education and/or experience in Computer Science or Information Systems preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating system administration principles.
- Willing to learn Office 365, Microsoft SharePoint, Server Operating Systems, VMWare and other cloud Technology.
- Customer Service oriented with the ability to assist frustrated customers in a professional manner.
- Experience in a self-directed work environment.
- Demonstrated ability to research and resolve problems utilizing a variety of resources and tools.
- Knowledge of IT security standards is a plus.
Reports:
- Weekly status meetings with supervisor.

- Ability to resolve issues and answer questions in a timely and professional manner.
- Ability to meet deadlines.
- Attention to detail.
- Must be able to multi-task.
