Part Time It Associate

FlightWorks, Inc. seeks a part-time IT Associate at our corporate office in Kennesaw, Georgia. This is a 16-20 hour work week with a flexible schedule. After 3 months of service, on call will be added to the schedule.

The candidate should be a technically skilled; a customer service-oriented team member; and have strong interpersonal skills that facilitate communication with co-workers, and supervisors. Problem solvers that are comfortable in dynamic, fluid environments are highly desired. • Sets up, configures, and Supports Windows laptops, desktops, iPads and iPhones. (Hardware and software)
• Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within general desktop support.
• Plays a pro-active role in the IT department.

• Self-starter with the ability to work with limited supervision.
• Education and/or experience in Computer Science or Information Systems preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating system administration principles.
• Willing to learn Office 365, Microsoft SharePoint, Server Operating Systems, VMWare and other cloud Technology.
• Customer Service oriented with the ability to assist frustrated customers in a professional manner.
• Experience in a self-directed work environment.
• Demonstrated ability to research and resolve problems utilizing a variety of resources and tools.
• Knowledge of IT security standards is a plus.

Reports:

• Weekly status meetings with supervisor.
