Job Description
The purpose of this position is to investigate reported customer complaints regarding issues with products sold at Publix and to ensure all necessary information is accurately captured. Position is also responsible for securing physical evidence related to product complaint cases and as needed referring cases to Risk Management Customer Claims Unit (CCU).
  • Processing regulatory action taken with a retail store
  • Preparing reports upon business and customer demand
  • Processing customer complaints regarding issues with national brand, private label, manufactured and retail altered products
  • Responding in a professional manner to customer complaints
Required Qualifications:
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Internet Explorer and Adobe Acrobat
  • Ability to prioritize work, work under deadlines and handle a high volume of work accurately
  • Must have good human relation skills (the ability to work well with others and be a team member)
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization
  • Accurate computer typing skills at 40-50 wpm
  • 1 year of customer service or retail experience
  • Willingness to work flexible hours which may include extended periods of time, holidays and weekends
  • Enthusiasm, initiative and pride in work
  • Ability to remain flexible and calm in stressful situations and handle highly confidential and sensitive information
  • Excellent attendance and punctuality
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
