Palm Harbor Health and Rehabilitation Center is a 120-bed Skilled Nursing Facility located in Palm Harbor, FL. We are looking for compassionate caregivers to help our residents live their lives to the fullest. We are currently seeking Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) to join our team of caregivers. New graduates are encouraged to apply!

What you bring to our team:

• Effective verbal and written English communication skills
• Customer service oriented with the ability to work well under pressure
• Highest level of professionalism with the ability to maintain confidentiality
• Problem solving skills
• New Graduates: Must take and pass the CNA license exam within 120 days of employment to remain an employee of Orchid Cove at Palm Harbor
• Current/active CPR certification preferred
• Active Florida CNA license
• Approachable, flexible, and adaptable to change

As a CNA, you will provide care to our residents to include but not limited to:

• Ambulate and transfer residents, utilizing appropriate assistive devices and body mechanics
• Other duties as assigned
• Observe residents carefully and report changes in condition to Charge Nurse
• Participate in collecting accurate date on residents to include vital signs, weights and measurements, intake and output, food consumption, and other information as assigned
• Routinely turn and position residents as necessary
• Provide personal care (grooming, bathing, dressing, oral care, etc.) of residents
