JOB DESCRIPTION

POSITION TITLE: Parking Shuttle Driver

REPORTS TO: Parking Manager

DEPARTMENT: Parking & Transportation

CLASSIFICATION: Seasonal FT/PT

FLSA STATUS: Non Exempt

GENERAL PURPOSE

Responsible for the safe and timely operation of the parking lot shuttle.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Excellent guest service is required.
• Maintains proper records and daily checks of company shuttle bus
• Operates vehicles in a safe and courteous manner
• Maintains the cleanliness and snow removal of Shuttle vehicles

OTHER FUNCTIONS

• Assist with giving fellow shuttle drivers their breaks and or lunches
• Perform any project or other duties as assigned by Supervisor or Foreman.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITY:

• Good communication skills
• Positive attitude - this job is guest service oriented due to the fact the Shuttle Drivers are the first person our guests may encounter daily.
• Must have a valid license.
• Minimum 21 years of age.
• Neat appearance.
• CDL required.
• General knowledge of Teton Village and its surrounding areas

EDUCATION OR FORMAL TRAINING:

• High School Graduate or G.E.D. equivalent required.

EXPERIENCE:

• None

MATERIAL AND EQUIPMENT DIRECTLY USED:

• Company Trucks and Shuttle busses
• Two way radios
• Brooms, window cleaning materials, ice scrappers

WORKING ENVIRONMENT/PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES:

• Extreme weather conditions
• Able to lift and move parking barricades and assist with other parking duties
• Able to sit for long periods of time
