Packaging Designer Jobs

Our investment client is looking for a Packaging Designer to support their team. This freelance role will be around 20 hours a month, ongoing, with the ability to work remotely other than an in-person kick-off meeting in Roanoke.

The Packaging Designer will work on creating packaging for various consumer products, including consumer electronics, batteries and hunting/camping gear. There would be approximately 3-4 projects per month.

Packaging Designer Responsibilities:

• Design packaging for various products using provided assets
• Assist in other design projects as needed
• Update and make necessary revisions based on client feedback
• Update packaging design, including adding new fonts and backgrounds, the companys logo, and other product features to the 2D layout

Packaging Designer Requirements:

• Must have own computer with software
• A portfolio showcasing relevant design work
• 2+ years relevant experience in packaging/graphic design
• Proficient with Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
• Previous experience or interest in outdoor recreation is a plus!
