The Opportunity
Adept Group is hiring a Packaging Consulting Team Manager. As the Packaging Consulting Team Manager, you will be accountable for leading and managing the packaging consulting team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality packaging solutions for our clients. You will lead the team that works closely with clients to understand their packaging needs, develop and implement packaging strategies, and provide recommendations on the best materials, processes, and technologies to use.

Key Responsibilities

• Actively participate as a contributing member of our high performing leadership team
• Conduct research and analysis to stay current with industry trends and best practices.
• Manage project timelines and budgets, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
• Work closely with clients to identify packaging needs, provide recommendations, and deliver solutions that meet their requirements.
• Effectively manage resources to achieve gross profit goals
• Develop and implement packaging strategies using Adept’s methodology to meet clients' needs, including cost optimization and sustainability initiatives.
• Participate in business development activities, including proposal development, client presentations, thought leadership content and networking events.
• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of packaging experts, providing guidance and support as needed.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their satisfaction and retention.
• Collaborate with clients’ cross-functional teams, including marketing, production, logistics, and quality, to ensure seamless project delivery.

Qualifications:

• Expert knowledge of packaging materials, processes, and technologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and solve complex packaging issues.
• Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team of experts.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas to clients and team members.
• Experience managing projects, including timelines and budgets.
• Experience working with clients in multiple industries, including life science, food and beverage and/or consumer packaged goods.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in packaging consulting or a related field.
• Bachelor's degree in packaging engineering, supply chain management, or related field.
