Job Description

Position :

Oracle DBA


Location : Mclean VA(day one onsite, 3 days onsite in a week) – Only local or nearby consultant


Required Insights:

Need 50% oracle dba and 50% DB2(recent projects)with some security exp and store procedures


Skills:

  • Oracle DBA
  • DB2 DB


Manage Oracle databases

Configure and maintain database servers and processes

Monitor system's health and performance

Ensure high levels of performance, availability, sustainability and security

Analyze, solve, and correct issues in real time

Provide suggestions for solutions

Refine and automate regular processes, track issues, and document changes

Assist developers with query tuning and schema refinement

Perform scheduled maintenance and support release deployment activities after hours

Qualifications

5 years of experience as a Oracle DBA and DB2

Development Exp required

Critical thinker and problem-solving skills

Team player

Good time-management skills

Great interpersonal and communication skills
