Job Title: Sr. Oracle/SQL DBA

An employer is looking for a Sr. Oracle/SQL DBA to join the Database Engineering team to sit fully-remote with in US (preferably PST timezone)! This will be a part of the Database Services Organization

which is a Shared Service group at a global Life Sciences company. The Sr. DBA’s typical day will consist of 40% hands-on performance tuning in Oracle/SQL, 40% working with Oracle/SQL internals,

10% database backup/recovery efforts and 10% working on AWS. This person will work closely with fellow Sr. DBA’s and Architects, but will be expected to come into the role and hit the ground running.
